Who the Hell is Eklund?

Somehow I forgot about my facebook account, but after about 5 months of inactivity I’m back on it.

And what better thing to do after being away from facebook for so long? Creep on people’s profiles, right?

So after checking out all of the people in my friends list’s profiles, I started digging around for other interesting hockey related junk. It had been a while so I had to dig through a whole bunch of garbage, but then I found a group called, “If this group reach 1500 members, I will reveal who EKLUND really is!!!”

My first thought was, “who cares?” but then after reading the info on the group I figured I may as well pass this along, in hopes of exposing this guy. Maybe exposing isn’t the right word, but regardless, I still think that it’s funny that someone wants to reveal this guy’s identity to the world. Can’t wait for the “reveal motherpucker’s identity” group to be started now! Because yes, I’m just as famous… credibility levels are definitely questionable.

Here are the points that this group brings up:

• Are you sick of Eklund’s silly rumors?
• Have you been screwed by Eklund by buying a season ticket pass to his stupid website?
• Does anyone still believes Eklund really have real hockey sources?
• Do you wonder why Eklund is an anonymous blogger?
• Do you think visiting www.hockeybuzz.com is a real waste of time?
• Have you ever notice that 99.9% of his ridiculous rumors are completely false?
• So if you really want to know who Eklund is, join this group!

The most recent news states that they are planning on posting all of Eklund’s rumors that turn out to be BS. Should be some interesting stats!

On draft day I attended a local watering hole to listen to the radio guys give the play by play as things went down. During one of their commercial breaks one guy went up there and asked who the hell Eklund was. I can’t remember if it was Robin Brownlee or who, but they basically said that he is this and that, and not to believe anything he says unless it’s Penguins related.

Anyway, the group has 125 members right now, so obviously has a long ways to go before reaching 1500, but I’ll stay tuned.
