Team USA Wins Gold!

Congratulations to Team USA for winning the gold medal at the 2010 World Junior Hockey Championships. I know most people in Canada are disappointed today, and I’m not going to lie by saying that I’m not even just a little bit, but I do have to say that I’m happy for the Americans and their victory. You always want the best pegged against the best right? That is what we had in this final, which was a mother effin whopper of a game, and team USA was the one to survive the Canadian comeback and take the game 6-5 in OT.

I didn’t write anything during this tournament because I was basically sitting there jaw on the floor watching these kids play their hearts out. This is by far the best hockey of the year (save for a few playoff games that can get pretty heated), and I’m already anticipating next years tournament in Buffalo. It is in Buffalo right?

Anyway back to the regular season of the NHL for a few weeks until the Olympics… oh MAN that is going to be a beauty!
