Roots NHL Jackets
Posted by Mother Pucker on March 24th, 2009Just in time for the playoffs, or the summer where you won’t need a jacket… Roots has unveiled their new NHL team jackets.
A few days ago I was contacted by one of the marketing people at Roots asking for little tidbits of information on each team that they have a jacket for. I obliged and it turns out they were nice enough to link to this website, and also my twitter account, so I figure what the hell, may as well show some love back and point the hockey fans towards Roots new offerings.
What do you think of the new jackets? Would you buy or wear one?

better than the old leather ones that were “popular” in the 90′s.
Still ugly.
I would buy one if I could afford the ticket price. During the 2002 Olympics I believe they had a similar jacket that they were selling. I have to say the Edmonton, Boston and Chicago jackets look the best.
Not my style but if it says roots anywhere on it I’m not spending money for it. I remember once somebody bought me roots beret… Seriously wtf were u thinking…
Not my style either. I’m not a fan of letter jackets. I got 1 in high school and haven’t worn it at all.
I think the jackets are nice. But I don’t see people wearing them. I know I sure wouldn’t.
I would definitely invest in the Oilers jacket if…
One, the extra small would fit my little female frame without looking retarded
Two, I could get to more games, I’ve seen them play the Kings once and will be seeing them play the Ducks on Friday… two games a season is a little hard to justify such a nice team jacket.
