Pierre McGuire Got Punched Out
Tweet Posted by Mother Pucker on August 11th, 2009Ok if this turns out to be true I’ll have to throw out a major hat tip to the guy who emailed me last night saying that Pierre McGuire got punched out by a TSN cameraman. Apparently while in Saskatoon, and at a random bar on Friday night, with Luke Schenn in the bar too, Pierre McGuire ate a few knuckle sandwiches.
I don’t have any more info other than Schenn having words, but not getting physically involved. So with basically no info on how or why this went down, why not make up my own version of events?
Pierre: I’m the reason TSN exists.
Cameraman: Yeah whatever.
Pierre: No seriously, I’m the greatest thing that’s ever happened to TV or hockey.
Schenn: What?
Pierre: Without me none of you young kids would ever get any lip service on TV.
Schenn: Why so self righteous?
Pierre: Do I come off that way? You wanna go?
Schenn: Gladly
Cameraman: Lukey, may not be the best PR move for you to do this…
Schenn: Yeah good point.
Pierre: Schenn you pussy!
Cameraman: Alright, I’ve had enough of this. BAM!
MCGUIRE GOTS TO GO , HIS VOICE ALONE DRIVES ME CRAZY LET ALONE OVER ANALIZIES EVERYTHING ,EVERYONE I TALK TO CAN’T STAND THIS GUY TIME TO GO BYE BYE -FOR SOME REASON HE SEEMS TO BE EVERY WHERE -PLEASE GET RID OF HIM
If you don’t like McGuire’s voice don’t listen. I find it ironic, however, that in a modern television world where everything from commercials to documentary voice overs everyone (men and women) figures it’s their job to speak in an insipidly contrived sophomoric phony voice that insults the intelligence of any five year old – that it’s McGuire that bothers you???
So, take it from my plethera of experience, hit mute and watch close captioning, change the channel, or turn the friggin TV off.
I thought Harry Neale or Gary Green were annoying. This guy makes it possible to mute the T.V. and put on 590am. Been watching this game for 35 yrs and hes just ^%$#in annoying. Christ even the wife can’t stand him. Hey Pierre, try doing commercials. Cause we all know how bad and senseless they are. What ever happened to the good ol’ days of Howie Meeker or Dick Irvin. This guy is an embarassment to all hockey fans in Canada. News flash Pierre……we know hockey. Stop stating the obvious so dramaticaly like it’s never been done before. Ever think of commentating soccer games?
Thanks Pierre! Sincerely… since listening to you I’ve cut down on the number of sleeping pills I’ve had to take: sleep sounder and longer. Unfortunately, the downside is I’ve missed just about every hockey game.
