No Games Garbage

Ok what the hell? This is the second Sunday this month that there haven’t been any hockey games. Is there some sort of international holiday today that I’m unaware of? Or does the NHL have some sort of stat that shows they can’t compete with the NFL on Sundays?
With all the talk of this compressed schedule due to the Olympics, you’d think that they would try and take advantage of every day they had available to them. The first time there were no games was as a result of all 15 teams playing the night before, but with back to back games it wouldn’t have been a stretch to have some of them still play the next day. How about yesterday? Not all the teams played, so we could have seen some hockey today.
This sucks. And is stupid. Yes, this was a juvenile rant, but who’s not with me?

Totally… I hear that the Leafs are off until they play in Vancouver next Saturday. What kind of BS is that???
This is total BS. I heard so many stories about how this season is going to be so hard because of the compressed schedule and then they have another sunday without a game. What the (fuck). Phily has had 6 days between games twice already, Montreal had a 5 day break and Colorado had a 5 day break as well in the first month of the season. Who makes these decisions. I realize that make a sched is a hard job (30 teams + 82 games each = beer) but WTF.
Completely agree…it makes no sense at all for there to be sundays off if all 30 teams didn’t play last night.
