NHL Teams Hiding Injury Details
Posted by Mother Pucker on September 27th, 2008It looks like NHL teams are now going to be able to keep injury details under wraps, as they no longer have to provide full disclosure in regards to injury status. As Mirtle points out, teams are no longer required to disclose the specific nature of an injury, though they are required to disclose if a player will miss a game or not return to a game after an injury. What a bunch of garbage. In a league where transparency is critical, not disclosing injuries is a major step backwards. This just screams bush league.

Obviously the GMs failed to consider the impact this decision would have on fantasy hockey managers. What a bunch of bullshit.
Yeah that’s something that I didn’t even consider with this. It’s pretty much already started with a few injuries being listed as “unspecified.”
