Most Annoying NHL Fans – Round 1

Congratulations to the Philadelphia Flyers for winning the Presidents Trophy last night in a neck and neck race with the Pittsburgh Penguins.
The regular season seemed to turn into a battle between those two teams, but if history has anything to say to us, being a top seed doesn’t guarantee that you’re going to coast through the playoffs. Just ask Tara McCool and Lisa from the twitter hockey hotties competition, who were seeds 14 and 11, but ended up making it to the finals.
I have to agree with a commenter Dan from the first round who stated:
“I think the Eastern Conference is well represented at the top because the Eastern Conference cities are so much closer together than the Western Conference cities, so you’re going to see Toronto fans at Buffalo games, Buffalo fans at Ranger games, Ranger fans at Devils games, etc. The Eastern teams at the bottom of the list are from cities where people just don’t care about hockey.”

I know for the Blackhawks, the people in the United Center aren’t necessarily the fans.
The real Hawks fan is some guy sitting in a gin mill somewhere in the South Side, drinking Old Style and muttering “Fuckinhawks” every time they give up a goal.
Yeah that can hold true for a lot of places. Not so much here in Edmonton because we don’t have too many ‘suits’ that sit in the club lounge and don’t even bother going to their seats, but I’ve seen it in other cities (cough cough, Toronto)
I’m really surprised Nashville didn’t make this. I know they don’t get much exposure, but man those guys are brutal. I even hate watching games on tv played in Nashville. That fuckin goal song and the PA announcer every time they go on the power play… I’d rather chew on some tin foil.
