Joe Sakic Breaks Three Fingers
Tweet Posted by Mother Pucker on December 10th, 2008I remember hearing Don Cherry say “It never rains but it pours for the poor Nords” back when the Avalanche were still the Quebec Nordiques, and I guess that statement still sticks now with Joe Sakic going down to a snowblower injury that has busted three of his fingers.
The guy was already out with a herniated disc in his back, so I’m wondering why he was even using a snowblower in the first place? Then again he probably had some magical riding one that didn’t require much effort on his part. Anyway, it really sucks to be Joe right now!
Poor Avs… Lose Joe for 3 months…. that’s gonna hurt… I mean 6 weeks for the back was bad enough… I guess snow blowers will now be written into NHL contracts for the forseeable future
