Interview With an NHL Ice Girl
Posted by Mother Pucker on December 17th, 2008Well it seems that the NHL Ice Girls are quite the hot topic around here, so what better thing to do than have the Mother Pucker interview one of them? I’ve got just that opportunity, and figure that I may as well open the floor to everyone here!
I’m not going to tell who the interview is with, or which team she works for, mainly just to keep team specific questions out of it.
I already have a list of questions put together for her, but I want to let everyone in on this opportunity. As for the questions, feel free to ask pretty much anything. I’ll censor it if its going over the line, but hey, this is Mother Pucker Hockey, not your mom’s newspaper, so let’s have some fun!
Now hurry up and get your questions posted in the comments!

I suppose “Are they real” would be rude and inappropriate huh?
I’d be curious to know how the fans have been to them. Other sports have always had cheerleaders but the concept is obviously new to hockey so I’m curious, as well as she can tell, how the fans are compared to other sports.
Yeah i would like to perhaps add to the first posters question. Alot of people feel that there is no place in hockey for ‘ice girls’. Some play the card its family entertainment and Ice Girls don’t fit the family entertainment equation. Yet they still find a place for the fighting in their brand of family entertainment. Id like to know if she thinks there is a double standard regarding this issue and if so what she thinks about it.
I hope that made sense its 6 am and i haven’t really had any java yet.
I would love to know how a female involved in hockey feels about the Avery comments and what her thoughts on the suspension are.
I want to know if any of the players ever talk to them on the ice and if so, what are some of the things she’s heard them say. Bonus points if we get names.
ok…kind of a two parter.
have you ever dated a player?
and who do you think are the best looking players in the league?
How about asking how one get’s involved in being an ‘Ice Girl’.
I know that with cheerleaders for football or basketball, I see advertises in the local newspapers or flyers up around town. I’ve never seen anything about ‘Ice Girl’ auditions.
I just want to say,”There you are”, “Why did you leave”, now come back and I’ll forget you ever left!
What ever happened with this interview? Still in the works?
The email is off… just waiting for a reply.
As a “female involved in hockey” I find it no more or less offensive than anything that goes on in the world.. if guys come see more games because there are cute ice girls, all the better.. hockey isn’t popular enough, and if that sells seats- so be it..
It doesn’t take a thing away from my game.. of course, if they wanted to have “ice boys” or “ice men” preferably, at my games, that would be ok too;)
[...] ladies and gentlemen, the long awaited interview with an NHL ice girl is finally here! Yeah I know its taken forever to finally get this done, but hey everyone has busy [...]
