It's definitely a goal that looks way better than all of Sid the Kid's fancy goals put together (I'm from Nova Scotia, I can say that) but definitely not the best I've seen this year. While it was pretty, and something worthy of the highlight reels, it was a power play opportunity, and the goaltender had no chance. No one got undressed on that play, there was no humiliation factor either, the game was a romp. I agree with Maguire here: I'd like to see more from Tavares when it matters most, the 5-on-5.
