Not sure if any other teams had fun. Sale and her husband were going through a rough time after he had his own affair, so it was probably that classic case of timing and opportunity that might not have happened except for the way the stars were aligned at that time!!

I heard Craig simpson on the Fan 590 talking about something and at the end when they asked him about a guest return to Battle of the Blades, he just brushed it off politely and he couldn’t get off the subject fast enough. I guess they’re tryiing to keep it under wraps, but it’s all over Edmonton. He has three kids and she has one with Pelletier. Of course they are splitting up too, but this thing with Simpson was in the aftermath of the affair that David had, so I guess Jamie thought fair was fair. Except there was a 20 year marriage and a family involved.

I haven’t paid much attention to this soap opera, but I kind of assumed it was going to happen based on how they worked together on the show. I wonder what other teams may have had a little off ice fun?

Craig Simpson could have skipped Battle of the Blades and donated 5 times the amount of money he won on behalf of spinal cord research from his OWN pocket, and he would still be farther ahead financially than when he gets finished splitting the family assets with his wife as a result of their split-up…..which is as a result of his affair with Ms. Sale, which is as a result of the show. I’ll bet Mrs. Simpson rues the day she ever heard of Battle of the Blades!!
