Congratulations to Mike Green of the Washington Capitals for setting the NHL record for defencemen by scoring  goal in eight consecutive games. Green has been on quite a tear this season, and has put a stamp on his success by beating this 15 year old record previously held by Bruins d-man Mike O'Connell. So whats next for this kid? If he continues his strong play, he is on pace to score 40 goals this year, which is an incredible feat considering that the last two defencemen to do that were Paul Coffey and Bobby Orr.
